Position Overview
We are currently seeking experienced, self-motivated Chefs to join our team at a large-scale catering facility near Brisbane Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global food manufacturing company that provides high-quality meals to major international airlines.
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate + OT and weekend penalty rates
Shifts: Day and Afternoon shifts available
Schedule: Ongoing casual work with potential for long-term opportunities
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and assemble meals to client specifications in a high-volume environment
* Ensure compliance with HACCP and OHS standards at all times
* Maintain stock levels and assist with food production planning
* Conduct quality control checks
* Supervise and coordinate Catering Assistants
Essential Criteria
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
* Experience in food manufacturing or high-volume kitchen environments
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including availability for OT
* Full working rights in Australia
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
* Ability to work within time constraints and meet production targets
