We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher to fill the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate in Plant Developmental Biology. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project focused on flower development using the model plant species Arabidopsis thaliana.
About the Role
As part of a collaborative, ERC-funded Synergy project awarded to Dr Marcus Heisler and colleagues, called Reengineering Symmetry Breaking in Development and Evolution (RESYDE), you will work at the University of Sydney in the Heisler lab to document the expression domains of key developmental genes and use fine-scale perturbation approaches combined with live-imaging and multi-plex in situ hybridization to test regulatory hypotheses.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include contributing to the generation and maintenance of transgenic Arabidopsis lines containing GFP expression reporters.
