The Role
We are looking for a full-time Civil Drafter to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail, AutoCAD proficiency, and a sound understanding of civil construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and refine accurate civil engineering drawings, sketches, plans, and technical charts using AutoCAD and related software.
* Participate in project planning and coordination meetings to support effective workflow and timely project delivery.
* Conduct on-site inspections, field assessments, and data collection to support project design and development.
* Incorporate engineering mark‐ups and revisions into final drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
* Perform calculations for material quantities and contribute to cost estimation and budgeting efforts.
* Maintain company drafting standards, templates, and documentation libraries to ensure high-quality outputs.
* Analyze engineering data from surveys, tests, and field measurements to inform design and decision-making.
* Collaborate closely with engineers, site teams, and clients to resolve technical challenges and maintain project quality.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience as a Structural Draftsperson, preferably with over 4 years of hands‐on experience using AutoCAD.
* Solid technical understanding of structural engineering principles.
* Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills.
* Experience in creating detailed drawings for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and timber structures.
* Ability to accurately interpret engineering designs and sketches and translate them into precise drawings.
* Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team‐oriented approach.
