We are expanding our metropolitan operations from our new Forrestdale workshop to service our growing Perth-based client base.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tradesperson to join our Forrestdale team.
This role is suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high quality line boring and machining work and enjoys a mix of workshop and field service work.
While based at our Forrestdale workshop, the position will also involve attending client sites to perform onsite machining and line boring when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Onsite line boring of mobile and fixed plant equipment
* Onsite XY and slew milling
* Machining and fitting duties in our Forrestdale workshop
* Assisting with mechanical repairs, fabrication and general workshop tasks when not onsite
* Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and presentation
* Accurate job documentation and timekeeping
* Working efficiently both independently and as part of the workshop team
* Willingness to work overtime when required
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade qualification in machining and/or welding
* Experience in field machining and line boring (essential)
* Manual driver's licence and reliable transport
* Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol testing and obtain a National Police Clearance
* MR/HR licence (essential)
* High Risk Work Licence (advantageous)
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Excellent focus on quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction
* Monday to Friday 5/2 roster
