Financial Reporting Expertise
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial reporting and compliance expertise across various business areas.
* Deliver accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions and external reporting obligations.
* Perform complex accounting calculations and reconciliations, including derivatives, hedging, and leases.
* Contribute to the preparation of half-year and full-year financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Assist with statutory financial statement preparation for Group subsidiaries.
* Work closely with external auditors during audits and respond to audit queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or similar field.
* Professional accounting certification, such as CA or CPA.
* Significant accounting experience in a firm or large corporate, preferably in oil and gas.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting rules.
