Location: Forbes, NSW. Jemalong Retirement Village is a 105-bed residential aged care home. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, available due to an internal promotion.
We are looking for an experienced nurse manager with strong leadership, a passion for person-centred care, and the ability to foster a positive team environment. You will oversee day-to-day operations of the 105-bed, single-level home, ensuring high standards of care and service for residents. You will be supported to focus on operational and clinical leadership, quality improvement and community engagement, within a stable, well-staffed environment.
You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and regional/centralised support from HR, Recruitment, Workforce Rostering and Operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
* Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experience
* Operational planning, budgeting, and resource management
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and the wider community
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor of Nursing tertiary qualification
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* At least 5 years of relevant nurse leadership/management experience
* In-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, strengthened standards, and AN-ACC processes
* Proven leadership in healthcare operations, including rostering and financial oversight
* Collaborative, compassionate leadership style and excellent communication skills
