Role
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Aged Care/Retirement in Farrer, ACT. Permanent Full-time role weekdays only, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Dual responsibilities in food preparation and presentation and site management
* Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
* Adherence to food hygiene and safety practices
* Demonstrable team management, development and leadership
* Assisting the broader team as required
* Regular client meetings and dietary updates
Desired Skills and Experience
* Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
* Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
* Strong communication skills
* Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
