The Role
This 6‐month fixed‐term, full‐time position commences in Term3,2026 and may be extended for up to 30months. The role is that of an Internal Relief Teacher, supporting school operations and maintaining continuity of learning across all year levels (Kindergarten to Year10). Teachers who wish to broaden their experience across diverse classroom settings and contribute to a collaborative and supportive school environment are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering engaging, explicit instruction across a range of year levels and learning contexts, utilising structured literacy and numeracy programs such as UFLI Foundations Toolbox, Spelling Mastery, Maths Hero, and daily review strategies.
* Supporting students engaged with the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) and delivering face‐to‐face instruction.
* Applying effective behaviour management aligned with whole‐school approaches, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and the Berry Street Education Model.
* Working autonomously, reflecting on practice, and responding to students' academic and social‐emotional needs using curriculum knowledge.
* Maintaining positive, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families through clear communication and collaboration.

Eligibility
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Be an Australian or NewZealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
