About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified horticulturist to join our team. In this role you will be working alongside other experienced gardeners carrying out all aspects of residential and Corporate garden maintenance.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualification in Horticulture
- High skill level with all power and hand tools and their respective maintenance
- Sound knowledge of plants including pests and diseases
- Passionate about the horticulture industry with a great work ethic
- The ability to work independently and lead a small team
- Sound knowledge of irrigation system repairs and upgrades
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in gardening and horticulture
- Strong knowledge of various plant species, their care and maintenance requirements
- Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual gardening tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional customer service
