Admire Care Pty Ltd is looking for reliable, enthusiastic and passionate Disability Support Worker. As a NDIS registered provider, Admire Care Services are focused on providing person centred care that allows our participants to live their best lives. We provide a range of support services including 24/7 out of home care, respite care and day services. We are looking for qualified and experienced Disability Support Workers for our ever-growing team, providing support to a range of participants from 6 years to adult.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals to perform daily living tasks, such as hygiene, cooking, cleaning, community outings, learning and maintaining daily routines.
- Provide companionship and support to assist clients to develop their existing skills, abilities, and confidence.
- Maintain records of client progress.
- Assist in the coordination of support for participants.
What you need
- Enthusiasm and passion about supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.
- Recent experience in the Disability sectors (at least 1 year), including experience with behaviours of concern.
- Relevant qualifications (Cert III or above) in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Services.
- Current First Aid (within 3 years) and CPR (within 12 months).
- Availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and active night shifts.
