The OpportunityWe are seeking experienced Change Managers to support a major, large-scale organisational and technical transformation within a highly classified national-security setting. Based onsite in Melbourne, you will lead the development and execution of structured change strategies that drive cultural, operational and technology adoption across diverse teams.
This role suits a seasoned change professional who thrives in secure environments, excels at navigating organisational complexity, and brings recent experience supporting high-risk or intelligence-aligned programs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Develop comprehensive change management strategies, plans and readiness activities
• Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments and risk identification
• Engage, influence and coach senior leaders, SMEs and user groups
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of change activities and monitor adoption success
• Provide expert change advice and integrate with communication and training teams
• Support project governance, reporting, performance evaluation and continuous improvement
• Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions and targeted engagement activities
• Apply research and evidence-based decision making to change planning
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
• Demonstrated experience delivering organisational and/or technical change initiatives
• Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management
• Experience conducting impact analysis, readiness assessments and change planning
• Ability to facilitate workshops and drive alignment across diverse senior audiences
• Excellent communication skills — written, verbal and interpersonal
• A calm, structured and professional approach suited to secure, high-pressure environments
• Experience in Defence, intelligence, national security, or high-sensitivity programs is highly desirable
• PROSCI certification desirable (not essential)
Security Clearance
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current AGSVA TSPV clearance.
Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA).
Unfortunately, clearance upgrades cannot be accommodated for this role.
