We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the academic and personal development of pupils in a Year 3 classroom.
Duties include delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom routines, and working with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting, and hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom routines.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted support, including those with additional needs.
* Help prepare learning materials, set up activities, and contribute to a stimulating classroom environment.
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Assist with the assessment and recording of pupil progress under the direction of the teacher.
Requirements
* Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting.
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or willingness to train.
