Description
You will support older people to live their best life, supporting them to live independently at home by helping them with everyday activities.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide personalised domestic assistance services that empower seniors to maintain their independence.
* Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry and organising while respecting the client's preferences and capabilities.
* Assist with meal preparation, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
* Foster a warm and supportive relationship with clients, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being
* Monitor clients\' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to ensure their safety and well-being.
What you need to be successful in this role
* Previous experience in cleaning and laundry and/or aged care
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with client and their families
* Reliability, patience and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of seniors
* Full Driver's Licence and reliable registered vehicle
* Current Police Clearance (less than 6 months) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccination
* Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight providing you with guaranteed working hours with the flexibility to be available for a minimum of three days Monday - Friday working between the hours of 9am - 4pm (must be available on Fridays)
