The Role
Based in Brisbane, and reporting to the Head of Global Talent & Reward, you'll have the opportunity to partner with global leaders to drive talent acquisition in line with the business strategy as we expand in current markets, and enter new ones. What You'll Be Doing- Partnering with Megaport's hiring managers across all regions and functions; Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Product to source top talent.- Managing the end-to-end global recruitment process, including developing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, assessment, interview, evaluation, references, and generating contract workflows, to ensure quality talent is placed in our business.- Conducting the recruitment kick off meetings with our managers, acting as their key point of contact and advisor throughout the entire process.-
- Talent Acquisition reporting to monitor progress & ensure delivery on objectives.- Contribute to maintaining and improving a recruitment culture that involves all team members in attracting and securing top talent for Megaport.- Acting as a Talent advisor on competitive and market driven insights to help Megaport's teams to better understand their unique talent markets.-
- Coach hiring Managers on interview techniques and best practice- Managing the recruitment platforms; Indeed, LinkedIn, Seek, Glassdoor, etc, and championing the execution of talent branding.- Actively support the onboarding process by ensuring an exceptional new hire experience.-
- Build university relations and manage career events.- Other ad-hoc People & Culture Team tasks and projects as required.
What We Are Looking For- At least 4 + years' of recruiting experience across a variety of teams, preferably teams of high technical calibre.- You'll be skilled in engaging and coaching internal stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, high demand environment.- High level of attention to detail.- Focused and committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to consistently network, build and grow working relationships.- Innovative sourcing methodologies and an interest in Talent Branding.- Experience working with relevant tools; LinkedIn Recruiter, an HRIS and/or ATS, job boards, etc.- Consultative communication approach, and strong interpersonal skills, with effective relationship building and ability to influence.-
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity.- Team player; willingness to jump in and support the team where needed.
