The Role
A once in a lifetime opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering the highest level of relaxation and pampering to Higher State - Melbourne Airport as we open and expand into the area.
Our Spa Attendants are the heart of our business, providing important services such as greeting our regular users and potential new members in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures. The primary responsibility of our Spa Attendant is to deliver first-class service to our members and guests at Higher State - Melbourne Airport.
Our team takes pride in maintaining the facilities to an exceptional standard of our group of businesses. You may also assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. These tasks may include, but are not limited to:
* Monitoring customers in the pool - Lifeguarding and pool water testing
* Retrieving stock deliveries
* Touring and welcoming members and guests
* Sometimes helping with membership signup (not sales per se)
* Supporting the spa therapist with linen
* Cleaning
* Stock management - rolling towels, filling soap dispensers
* Safety equipment checks including First Aid checks
Experienced attendants are invited to join our fabulous team. You must be available weekends and some midweek days. Some weekend-only positions are also available.
Our Spa operates 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm, with a flexible rotating roster.
Successful Applicants Will Require
* Working With Children Check
* Police Check
* First Aid Level 2
* Current CPR
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Legal working rights in Australia
If you do not hold these qualifications, you must be willing to obtain them.
The Venue
The Higher State is located within the Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport, a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel which opened on 1 July 2024. The Novotel Melbourne Airport has 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport has 216 rooms, and will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a fitness centre, conference rooms, pool, co-working space and a number of food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct. This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
