About the Role
We are looking for dedicated casual Swim Instructors to lead a range of swimming classes, from preschool students to adults. In this role you will create a safe, positive and fun learning environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities, and work closely with the on‐deck supervisor to ensure smooth transitions between levels.
Responsibilities
Lead swimming and water safety classes for a variety of age groups. Ensure a safe and encouraging environment for all participants. Collaborate with the on‐deck supervisor to coordinate class schedules and transitions.
Essential Requirements
* Current CPR provider / performer certificate
* Teaching certification for swimming and water safety (ASCTA Swim Australia Teacher, LSV or AUSTSWIM)
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid Certificate
* Working with Vulnerable People Check
Desirable Qualifications
* Teacher of Infants & Preschool (ASCTA Swim Australia Teacher, LSV or AUSTSWIM)
* Teacher of People with a Disability (ASCTA Swim Australia Teacher, LSV or AUSTSWIM)
* Teacher of Babies and Toddlers / Infant and Preschool Aquatics
* Teacher of Access and Inclusion / Learners with Disability
