About the Position
A prominent household in Toorak is seeking a discreet and experienced Domestic Manager to uphold exceptional standards of their private residence. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
* Maintain the home to pristine standards, including daily cleaning of all areas and general upkeep
* Prepare bedrooms for guests by making beds, changing sheets daily, and ensuring immaculate presentation
* Perform thorough cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, mopping, and deep-cleaning
* Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping for household items
* Run errands as required (driver's license and reliable vehicle essential)
* Manage household operations, including coordinating maintenance, repairs, and servicing
* Greet visitors, maintain household security when needed, and answer the door
* Provide full laundry care – washing, drying, ironing, and folding
* Assist with organization, including tidying cupboards and wardrobes
Requirements
* MUST have prior experience in private households or high-end hospitality settings; demonstrated stability in past roles preferred
* Superior time management skills and ability to work independently with excellence
* A professional, trustworthy, and friendly demeanor
* MUST have current Australian driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
* Strong references from previous domestic positions in private households or high-end housekeeping settings
* A valid Police Check and Working with Children clearance required for this role
