Job Description
What you will do: Embed a robust enterprise risk management framework and develop a positive risk culture within the business. This includes implementing systems that enable operational complexities to be understood by key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the evolution of existing risk management processes and controls to develop an integrated, comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework aligned with organisational strategy, to eliminate or mitigate risk.
2. Promoting appropriate risk-taking and fostering a strong, effective, and enduring positive risk culture.
3. Supporting the Board and Executive team to develop and monitor Aspect’s risk management strategy, risk appetite statements, internal controls, and risk register.
4. Developing risk management controls and contingency plans to mitigate risks in their areas of responsibility.
5. Managing technology solutions for risk management that provide real-time and trend insights on business activities, within business units and enterprise-wide, in partnership with the Quality Manager.
6. Preparing high-quality reports and providing aggregated, enterprise-level risk trend analysis to the Board, CEO, and Executive team, focusing on enterprise-wide risks that could impact core business activities and strategy.
7. Escalating critical issues related to non-compliance and breaches to the CEO and Board as required.
8. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to support the company's vision.
This is a part-time 0.6 FTE, permanent role. The full-time equivalent annual salary is $205k and the pro-rata salary is $123k, inclusive of superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications
What you bring:
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a risk role, financial services, or related field, preferably within the Human Services or Education sector.
* Tertiary qualification in business, accounting, finance, or similar.
* Demonstrated experience in embedding a Risk Management Framework across a complex organization.
* Critical thinking with an analytical approach.
* Experience analyzing information/data and providing recommendations to leaders.
* Working with Children Check clearance (NSW).
* National Police Clearance.
