This technical role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, world-class projects in the resource sector, collaborating with experienced geoscience and engineering teams.
In this capacity, you will be involved in:
* Closure planning, landform assessments, cost estimation, environmental assessments, and environmental management.
* Multidisciplinary projects in various environments, requiring close collaboration with other professionals.
We are seeking highly skilled individuals with a strong background in:
* A minimum Bachelor's degree in environmental/civil engineering, environmental, geoscience, or a related field.
* Over 2 years of relevant mining and/or closure experience or equivalent education and experience.
* Technical report writing skills and proficiency in Excel for data inputs, analysis, and calculations.
* Working knowledge of general environmental management, risks, and legislation related to rehabilitation and closure in Queensland and NSW.
* Landform design, erosion assessment, cover design, and strong interpersonal skills.
