We're seeking a fit, reliable and hands-on
Fabrication Supervisor
to support the efficient day-to-day running of our fabrication team. The Fabrication Supervisor will be a key figure in overseeing the entire fabrication process, from job preparation to finished product inspection, as well as assisting sales with fabrication quotations and support.
About the role
Lead, supervise and co-ordinate the daily tasks of a team of fabricators, welders and apprentices.
Provide hands-on guidance and training to the team, ensuring adherence to company standards and quality requirements.
Ensure the sheet metal fabrication process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Review production schedules, assign tasks to team member and ensure that deadlines are being met.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project flow.
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Job Requirements
Must be a Trade qualified in Sheetmetal Worker, Boilermaker or similar.
Minimum of 8 years experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Fabrication processes, interpreting technical drawings and quality control.
Proven experience with Fabrication equipment.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Have a good level of fitness as the nature of the role is physical.
You must be punctual and reliable.
Have a high attention to detail and strong communication skills.
