Seven Corp on behalf of UON Pty Ltd Overview: UON is a Western Australian integrated energy company providing turnkey energy and water solutions to the mining sector and beyond. Central to this is helping our customers on their decarbonisation journey utilising the technology, skills and real experience of team members across the business. UON's business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON's Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.
An Industrial Engineer is essential for our business activities in driving operational efficiency, improving product quality, and reducing cost. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in our office in Malaga WA. Main tasks:
* Developing and introducing changes to work processes, safety procedures and labour utilisation.
* Assessing current processes and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency.
* Planning, designing and implementing systems that improve productivity and revenue.
* Measuring task time and setting performance standards.
* Inspecting manufacturing plants to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
* Reviewing current process performance, preparing reports and analysing costs and feasibilities.
* Establishing standards and policies for testing, quality control, quality assurance, inspection and maintenance.
* Ensuring the safe, environment–friendly design and operation of manufacturing processes.
* Determining specifications, timeframes, materials, equipment, capacities and workflows.
* Attend client meetings and participate in technical discussions.
* Perform quality inspections on product or system workmanship, design, installation, and integrity.
* Review client scope of works and identify opportunities to improve quality and delivery.
* Build relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractor.
* Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
* Uphold the values of the Company in day to day works.
* Provide technical guidance around work processes implemented.
Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial) – BEng or equivalent.
* A minimum of 3 Years post trade Industry experience
Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:
* Knowledge of production activities and processes.
* Effective technical and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work under pressure.
* The ability to multi-task and self-manage workloads.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Annual salary will be between $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
