Train small groups of people in how to drive 4WD vehicles and ATV (side by side vehicle)
Must enjoy working with people and communicating ideas verbally and demonstrate skills such as tyre changing.
Must enjoy working out doors and be "hands on" or mechanically minded.
* Must have a minimum ten (10) years experience driving 4WD vehicles.
* Must hold a minimum Class C (Car licence) Australian driver's licence.
* Experience in tractor driving or chainsaw or operating machinery would be advantages.
* Must have the qualification TAE40116 workplace trainer and assessor.
* The job involves traveling to remote Aboriginal communities and training Aboriginal adults. This can be Arnhem land, Gove, Gulf or Central Australia.
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
* The remote trips may involve one (1) to four (4) nights away from Darwin.
* Trips away from Darwin can be a maximum eighteen (18) per year. Accommodation, travel costs are all provided.
* The trainer must supply a Police criminal history check and Working with Children card.
* The trainer must supply evidence of a minimum of three (3) covid 19 vaccinations.
* 38 hour week office hours 8am – 4.15pm (7.6hrs daily)
* $100 a day food allowance when training away from Darwin that includes an overnight stay.
* Annual leave six (6) weeks P.A.
* Three (3) weeks annual leave to be used over the Christmas break (business closes)
* Superannuation (SCG Government regulated)
* Sick leave (ten (10) day P.A)
* Public holidays
