Support Worker: Empowering Individuals with Disabilities

The role of a Support Worker is multifaceted and requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
* Manual Handling: Aid clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques and assisting with exercises.
* Community Engagement: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities that promote their well-being and independence.
* Domestic Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
* Behavioural Management: Handle clients with high behaviours employing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
* Cert 3 or 4 in Aged Care or Disability
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check and workers module
* Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance)
