We are seeking a skilled professional to support Defence students and their families as they integrate into the school community.
The ideal candidate will encourage social, emotional, and academic wellbeing of Defence students, particularly during parental absence or relocation.
* Provide opportunities for students to develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging within the school community.
* Raise awareness of unique challenges faced by Defence families, promoting empathy and understanding among teachers and students alike.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated commitment to Lord Jesus Christ and active participation in local Protestant church life.
* Able to empathise and work effectively with students from Kindergarten to Year 12, fostering a supportive environment.
* Understanding of Defence lifestyle and family needs, enabling informed support and guidance.
* Experience in education, wellbeing, or pastoral care is highly advantageous.
