Accounts Receivable Officer Job Opportunity

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for actively managing debtors, facilitating data entries into the resident system, processing fees and notifications, and ensuring timely responses to department enquiries.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and account reconciliation skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in aged or community care is highly desirable, but not essential. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, this role may be suited for you.
About the Role
This position is a member of the Finance Team, working under a shared service model to provide services across Australia. The successful candidate will focus on active debtor management and deliver a high standard of work, possessing a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively manage debtors, focusing on reducing outstanding debts and handling account inquiries.
* Facilitate data entries into the resident system (Epicor).
* Process and follow-up fees and Department of Health notifications.
* Ensure timely responses to department enquiries.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in the administration of Accounts Receivable.
* Sound knowledge of the receivables process.
* Sound knowledge of administration and experience in Microsoft Suite.
* Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated high level analytical and account reconciliation skills.
