About the position
The Accounts and Administration Assistant will work across the Office and Accounts portfolio to support the delivery of effective accounts and administrative functions for the RAD. The primary function of the role is to assist the Finance and Operations Manager to ensure the accurate and timely operation of accounting procedures. The role will also assist in Membership to process membership renewals and payments and manage the CRM and in Examinations, assisting with certificates and medals distribution.
Duties and Accountabilities
Finance:
* Assist the Finance and Operations Manager in the effective administration of the RAD finances portfolio through Xero accounting software including but not limited to invoicing, receipting, debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations and reporting.
* Process transactions for RAD activities as required.
* Assist with intercompany accounts, including invoicing.
* Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end reporting.
* Undertake half yearly and annual stocktake and maintain asset registers and other registers as required.
* Support other finance and administration activities and tasks as allocated by the Finance and Operations Manager.
Membership:
* Process membership renewals and new memberships and assist with membership administration in the RAD CRM.
* Facilitate membership payments online and over the phone.
* Provide customer service support to members.
* Provide membership reports as required.
Examination Administration:
* Assist the examination department with certificate printing and medals distribution.
* Assist with the stocktake of certificates and medals.
* Process payments for replacement certificates and medals.
About you
* Relevant tertiary or VET qualifications in Finance or Business.
* Knowledge and understanding of Xero Accounting software and other database and CRM systems.
* Experience working in an administrative, accounts-based role.
* Demonstrated ability to execute administrative and finance tasks and solve problems effectively.
* Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in an innovative, fast paced, high performing environment.
* Demonstrated experience managing relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders for mutual benefit
