Job Description
We are seeking skilled Auto Electricians & Motor Mechanics for a dynamic role in Central Queensland's Rockhampton & Gladstone Region.
* Servicing and maintenance of vehicles to factory required standards is a key responsibility.
* Diagnostic tracing of fault codes and repair of traced faults is also an essential task.
* The ideal candidate will have experience with repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
* Servicing of electrical automotive parts, including dismantling of engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components for rebuilding or repair, is expected.
* Auto and adjusting brakes, wheel laser alignment are also part of the job requirements.
* General vehicle maintenance as required by customers, including removal and replacement of worn components, is necessary.
* Testing of vehicle under driving conditions after repairs have been completed is a critical aspect of the role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful applicant must have:
* A current Motor Mechanic / Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is required.
* Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintenance of Japanese / European made vehicles as well as other vehicles (Including 4WDs) is crucial.
* Good diagnostic skills on specific brands are necessary.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure is expected.
* Good organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
* Manufacturer training and experience is highly valued.
