About The Role

We are currently seeking Qualified Community Support Workers who are looking to connect, care, and make every day comfortable and enjoyable for our clients.
As a Qualified Community Support Worker, you will become part of our client’s support system and assist by maintaining their well-being and independence while living at home. This is a role that will see you build meaningful relationships with our clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients across the Perth Metropolitan Area.
- Assist clients with personal care with respect and dignity.
- Provide support to clients by assisting with shopping, meal preparation and transportation.
- Carry out domestic tasks to ensure our client's home environment remains clean and organised.
- Support our clients socially and domestically while creating a positive rapport.
- Encourage and promote independence and freedom of choice.
- Support with extended respite services when needed.

What You Need
- Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or equivalent (essential).
- Previous experience working in the Community Aged Care (preferred).
- A valid driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to relate to the older people with empathy and understand their needs.
- Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
- Enjoy building positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Be eligible to work in Australia.
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one.
- Be up to date with your COVID 19 and flu vaccinations.
