Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Contributions Planner to support the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of development contributions within the Strategic Infrastructure Branch. This role will play a key part in delivering essential infrastructure by providing expert advice, ensuring robust governance, and supporting informed decision‐making in a high‐growth environment.
Responsibilities
As Senior Contributions Planner, you will play a key role in Council's responsibilities for development contributions and provide strategic input to support infrastructure planning and delivery.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in urban planning, economics, project management or other related discipline
* Sound working knowledge and demonstrated experience in implementation of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and Regulations
* Demonstrated understanding of working with contributions plans, voluntary planning agreements and works‐in‐kind agreements
* High level analytical, creative thinking, negotiation and conflict‐resolution and problem‐solving skills
* Demonstrated understanding of new release area planning and infrastructure provision
* Strong customer focus
* High level oral and written communication skills
* High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly spreadsheets
* Demonstrated ability to review processes and procedures and improve service delivery
* Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and act with probity at all times
Desirable
* Experience in finance and accounting practices, infrastructure planning and engineering issues
* Experience in project management
* Ability to present information to small forums and workshops
