We are seeking a talented Senior Digital Project Manager to join our client, an independent full service design agency based in Sydney.
This is a newly created role for the business.
The company comprises of fifteen full time employees and with contractors they are often a team of twenty two.
They have been established for many years and have an excellent reputation in the market for branding, digital, marketing, motion and stakeholder communications.
They are a highly collaborative and creative team.
The role is for a Senior Digital Project Manager who specialises in planning, execution and delivery of website projects on all scales.
This includes small scale and large scale website and web app design and builds, migrations, platform upgrades and feature enhancements across different technologies from WordPress, Headless CMS and less commonly Enterprise CMS and platforms.
This person would need expertise across the entire project lifecycle from detailed technical scoping and requirement gathering through to managing design and development processes, to testing, final deployment and launch.
The role requires an innovative and transformational contributor who is able to implement new systems and fix existing ones.
This is a Greenfield role and the only Digital Project Manager in the business.
This person will need to come in a set up new processes and procedures.
This role reports into the Digital Director.
Below is a break down of the key responsibilities.
Project scoping and planning – participating in discovery sessions, developing comprehensive SOWs, developing and managing multiple project budget, timelines and key milestones.
Execution and workflow management – managing multiple digital project lifecycles at once using Waterfall and Agile hybrid methodology.
Coordinate all departments of their in-house team ensuring specifications are clearly understood.
Proactively monitor and manage scope creep.
Delivery & quality – take ownership of the planning, scheduling and delivery of QA and UAT processes.
Coordinate the final deployment and go-live strategy.
Conduct project retrospectives.
Stakeholder management and consultation – actively communicate with clients.
Manage expectations and negotiate timelines.
Own the planning for resource requirements and assist with capacity management.
Internal systems & process implementations – set up best practice systems and processes.
Continue to innovate.
Strong command of AI is a major plus.

Key Skills
We are seeking:
An experienced Senior Digital Project Manager with at least eight years experience in agency.
Must have experience in planning, executing and delivery of website projects on all scales.
Ability to manage across entire project lifecycle from technical scoping through to deployment and launch.
Experience in project scoping and planning, execution and workflow management.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
Must have experience in using the Atlassian suite – Asana and Instagantt, andWaterfall
This team work a hybrid model with three days on site and two from home.
