About St Paul's Early Learning Centre

Our Early Years Program is engaging, play-based, and filled with real-life learning experiences designed to nurture every child's curiosity and confidence.
We're proud to be an Exceeding-rated service, open Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, with a team of more than 20 passionate educators who create a safe, supportive, and joy-filled environment for all children.
Our centre caters for 92 children per day, offering the warmth of a close-knit community — big enough to offer variety and opportunity, but small enough to ensure every child and family feels seen, known, and valued.
Your Role as Lead Educator
As our Lead Educators, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping rich, engaging learning experiences for our children. You will:
* Design and deliver a dynamic educational program that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
* Actively supervise and engage children in a range of fun and meaningful activities — both indoors and outdoors.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels at home.
* Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.
* Collaborate closely with your dedicated team to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.
* Contribute to maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment that reflects our pride in our service.
What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
* A Diploma in Children's Services, School Aged Care, or other ACECQA-approved qualification.
* A current Blue Card, plus up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
* Completed Child Protection Training (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law).
* Previous experience as a Lead Educator.
* Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach.
* The ability to build warm, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for early education and helping children thrive.
* A willingness to work within and uphold our Christian ethos.
