Role Description
This is an exciting on-site Locum or Contractor Physiotherapist role located in Cairns and Toowoomba QLD. The role involves assessing and treating clients to improve their mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. Daily responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, conducting physical therapy exercises, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for clients. The Physiotherapist will also focus on reablement and wellness, encouraging clients to maximize their independence and long-term health.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and development of care plans
* Proficiency in delivering rehabilitative and therapeutic interventions
* Effective communication and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to foster independence and focus on client-centered outcomes
* Knowledge of aged care, home care, NDIS frameworks, and associated regulations
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
* Current police clearance and valid driver's license
* Passion for aged care and making a positive impact in clients' lives
