2MTMining Products is an established wear parts consumables supply company priding itself on delivering quality wear parts and industry leading designs to the mining, quarrying, earthmoving, and agricultural industries.
2MT Mining Products have opportunities for motivated and dedicated individuals to join our growing support team. We are currently seeking Product Support representatives to service the Gunnedah to Lake Cowal mining regions in NSW.
The position will be based from your home office and applicants/residents of Western NSW regional areas will be considered e.g., Gunnedah, Forbes, Parkes, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst.
Full-service mine specification company vehicle will be provided to support the role.
Reporting to the – Leadership and Technical Support – East Coast you will be responsible for customer support and client relationship aspects of the 2MT Mining wear parts consumable business.
You will have a dedicated support territory, be a specialist in your field, marketing a range of unique world class products; dragline chain, rigging and ground engaging tools (GET) and direct replacement parts (DRP) products. Depending on your industry knowledge and depth of experience you will have the ability to add additional products to your customer portfolio.
2MT Mining Products is committed to providing additional training for the right applicant if required.
Duties Include:
* Responsibility for sales and product support for nominated territory, servicing existing mining wear parts customers and developing new business within the territory.
* Be the key point of contact for all customer related enquiry for the nominated territory.
* Ability to track, monitor and report on wear parts e.g., chain, rigging and GET product performance on a regular basis.
* Ability to collate data and present reports to site senior management personnel.
* Responsibility for management of stock at sites that form your nominated territory.
* Ability to complete accurate and timely in-house reports through the company (CRM) Customer relationship Management System
* Ability to travel and work on a week in week out basis from a home office environment.
Ideally the successful candidate will possess:
* A commitment to work safely, comply with site safety standards, compliance with mine working procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.
* Experience in mining wear consumable product support, along with a good understanding of tracking and monitoring of related products.
* Demonstrated competency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
* Excellent customer relationship, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Trade or mechanical engineering background is desirable.
* Ability to work away from a home base.
