We're hiring for local workshop positions with site-based project opportunities included – $50ph + overtime.
About The OpportunityWith ongoing growth within the organisation, our client is expanding their skilled trades team in Townsville. Both workshop and site-based work with positions commencing on a local basis.
These positions offer immediate starts in a labour hire position with the view to transition to a permanent role for the right candidates.
About The Role
This position will see you working in the local workshop as a boilermaker, completing the following tasks:
* Fabrication and welding
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawing and specifications
* Operating and maintaining specialised equipment safely and efficiently
* Participating in workshop builds, site projects and shutdown activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these roles, you will hold:
* Relevant trade certificate in Boilermaking
* Welders: ability to pass a weld test
* Working at heights and confined space tickets are highly desirable.
* Construction White Card
* Reliability and punctuality.
