About the Job
There is an exciting prospect with the Asset Operations team for a Traffic Controller. This position is a key player in the delivery of projects that the Shire facilitate. The position involves installation of traffic control equipment and systems to assist with the coordination of traffic.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Understand and install traffic management equipment as per set plans
- Maintain and undertake stock take of traffic management equipment
- Ensure the approved traffic control measures are implemented and maintained in accordance with the approved plans.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 99 hours per fortnight.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
- Hold and maintain Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation (BWTM)
- Demonstrated experience in similar role in Traffic Control
- Good communication and two-way etiquette
- Class 'C' License
Salary
$105,103.38 per annum, inclusive of overtime
Permanent staff are entitled to:
- 5 weeks annual leave per year
- 9-day fortnight
- Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
- Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of 5%
