An exciting opportunity has become available for an extraordinary and adaptive HR professional to join our team.

At Place HQ we operate within a shared services model, supporting a dynamic network of offices and leaders across the business. In this role, you will act as the key HR account manager for your portfolio, partnering closely with leaders and teams to deliver end-to-end HR support.

Reporting to the Head of People and HR Team Lead, you will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle across your portfolio, including recruitment, onboarding, performance support, employee relations, and general HR advisory. This role requires someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Our ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a supportive, fun team and fast-paced (we aren't joking!) environment with HR generalist experience, a strong knowledge of HR legislation, and the ability to partner with key stakeholders at all levels to achieve business outcomes. You will have a hunger for problem solving, enjoy viewing the HR world in colour, not just black and white, and love contributing to a team environment where ideas, support, and collaboration are valued.

This is a full-time opportunity, available for immediate commencement (or we can work with your timeline) and will be based at our modern Head Office located on James Street, Fortitude Valley.

Responsibilities
* Manage and execute recruitment campaigns end-to-end, aligned with hiring manager needs.
* Manage the employee onboarding process, including preparing new hire documentation, conducting orientation sessions and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
* Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and increase employee satisfaction and retention.
* Provide ER/IR support including award interpretation, letter drafting, performance planning and guiding conversations.
* Administer employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition out of the company.
* Facilitate professional development opportunities for employees, including training sessions and career advancement programs.
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices.
Requirements
* Experience with recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
