This is not a role for average.
We're looking for a top-tier Refrigeration & A/C Mechanic who takes pride in doing things properly—first time—every time.
A lot of our work is on Defence and Government sites, so we need someone who is:
* Fully licensed
* Highly experienced
* Professional and dependable
* A doer with a genuine can-do attitude
* Ability to obtain baseline clearance for defence and government work
If you like high standards, clear expectations, and getting the job done without drama, you'll fit in.
The Work
You'll be working on commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, installations, fault finding, repairs, preventative maintenance including (but not limited to):
* Cool rooms and freezers
* Ice machines, fridges and display cases
* Packaged, ducted & split systems
You will also be required to complete compliance-style documentation as required on certain sites
We're not looking for someone who only wants the easy jobs. We want someone who can walk onto anything and make progress.
Who You Are
You're the kind of tech who:
* Gets satisfaction from fixing what others can't
* Doesn't need micromanagement
* Communicates clearly and respectfully with clients and site representatives
* Works clean, thinks ahead, and doesn't cut corners
* Keeps momentum—because downtime costs money and reputation
You don't need meetings to feel important. You just want the tools, the standards, and the autonomy to deliver.
Essential Requirements
* Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (or equivalent)
* Current Restricted Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
* Current Driver's Licence
* An Australian citizen able to obtain a police clearance within 30 days of applying
* Strong commercial service/maintenance experience
* High-level fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical + electrical systems
Defence/Government site readiness: you must be able to meet site access requirements (professional presentation, reliable paperwork, and the discipline to follow site processes).
What You Get
* Attractive salary (negotiated based on experience)
* Company vehicle + phone
* Professional team, straight communication, and work that actually challenges you
This Is Not For You If…
* You need to be chased to finish jobs
* You blame tools, traffic, or everyone else
* You cut corners or avoid accountability
* You don't like structured sites and clear standards
Apply
Send your resume with a brief note outlining:
* The type of work you do best
* The current licences you hold
* Your experience on commercial sites (and any Defence/Government exposure if you have it)
No fluff. Just the truth.
