An annual whole school camp exposes students to differing environments and allows them to further develop personal attributes.Bymount East State School will provide quality education that assists all students to love learning, develop judgment and a sense of responsibility, understand the past and prepare to embrace the future to enable them to contribute socially, economically and culturally to society.**About the Role:**Responsibilities include, but not limited to;* Support teaching and learning by assisting with classroom activities, literacy and numeracy programs, and working with individual students and small groups.* Provide supervision and assistance during lessons, playground, transport, excursions, and sporting activities under teacher direction.* Assist students with diverse and high-level needs, including personal care where required, while demonstrating empathy, respect, and confidentiality.* Carry out administrative and clerical tasks such as preparing materials, maintaining records, managing class rolls, and supporting assessment processes.* Maintain a safe, organised, and supportive environment by managing resources and equipment, contributing to student wellbeing (including first aid), and working effectively as part of a team.The Teacher Aide reports to the Principal or nominated delegate as appropriate. The reporting relationship to teachers may be changed by the Principal on a regular basis to fulfil specific needs within the school.
