The organisation is entering a new growth and expansion phase in Australia and is expanding its estimating group.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Proposals, the Senior Estimator will provide a full estimating service for proposals and submission to assist the group in optimising its win rate and meeting budgeted revenue targets. You will develop cost effective and qualified bid solutions for multi-million dollar projects to provide the best value for money for customers as well as ensuring the engineered solution meets their requirements. Finally, you will have strong stakeholder management skills and partner with suppliers and contractors in requesting quotations.
Desired Skills and Experience You will have gained relevant experience as an Estimator with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment. Furthermore you will be an achievement-orientated person who can produce accurate and on time delivery of price estimates and you work well with Application Engineers, Business Development Managers and Project Managers in developing great technical solutions for your customers. Finally, you will have the ability to understand technical drawings and literature and will be regarded by your manager and peers as an active listener who respects everyone's views and ideas.
