The Role
This role works with internal stakeholders to provide clear advice on funding priorities and business case development for transport investments. You will analyse data, review proposals, and guide teams on how to plan, time and shape funding requests to fit available budgets. You support business case authors to build strong, evidence‐based proposals and help track issues and progress. You influence colleagues across the department and work closely with central agencies. Success means better investment decisions, well‐prepared business cases and effective use of funding to deliver transport projects that meet community needs.

* Has strong problem‐solving skills and an understanding of how policies and processes impact day‐to‐day work.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualifications in transport and/or engineering, finance, project management or public policy will be highly regarded (desirable).

* Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the position.
