Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.Role Type: 10-month Fixed TermRole Location:833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008Work Hours: Full Time (40 hours/weekly)What will your day look like?As a Risk Manager, you will:Lead initiatives to optimise collections systems, credit strategies, and operational processes through the implementation of predictive decision tools.Drive the development and implementation of collections strategies aligned with operational goals, ensuring measurable financial impact and continuous performance improvement through the project team.Act as a key liaison across business units, collections, recoveries, and risk teams to align strategies, resolve issues, and prioritize initiatives.Ensure all strategies comply with governance, legal, and regulatory standards, while proactively identifying and addressing risks and opportunities.What will you bring?To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Strong knowledge of collections processes, relevant legislation, and compliance with ANZ Group governance and regulatory standards.Extensive experience in risk management, with expertise in retail and commercial product strategies.Deep understanding of global best practices in collections strategies, systems, and risk management techniques.Proven ability to develop, deliver, and implement effective collections strategies across operational teams.Skilled in using collections systems and tools, with strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.Experienced in leading system and process enhancements aligned with global standards through cross-functional project collaboration.You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
