Responsibilities
* Collaborative Course DesignWork with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-create inclusive, engaging, and accessible course content across all delivery modes.
* Curriculum and Standards AlignmentEnsure alignment of learning outcomes, activities, and assessments with AQF levels, institutional frameworks, and national standards.
* Learning Experience DevelopmentBuild modular course structures and interactive learning assets using educational technologies and design tools.
* Pedagogical Consistency and InnovationApply design frameworks and educational research to support consistent, evidence-based, and innovative teaching practices.
* Technology and ComplianceUse LMS and edtech tools to deliver content that meets accessibility, copyright, and quality standards.
* Assessment DesignPartner with academic staff to design authentic, scaffolded, and integrity-focused assessments aligned to learning outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Postgraduate Degree in learning design, education technology, or a related discipline. Experience designing and developing curriculum in higher education.
* Experience with online and blended learning pedagogies.
* Skills in using and developing in LMS platforms (preferably Moodle).
* Ability to work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), educators, and compliance teams
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for instructional writing and stakeholder engagement
* Skill in evaluating learning effectiveness using data and learner feedback
* Adaptability to evolving technologies and pedagogical trends
Desirable Skills
* Experience working in a course innovation team
* Familiarity with learning analytics, micro-credentials, or competency-based design
* Multimedia production skills (video editing, graphic design, etc.)
