Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team in our Brisbane office.
About The Role
* Prepare3D layouts (using Smart Plant 3D) and detailed drawings.
* Provide oversight to project design team while working on deliverables in line with project requirements
* Be a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies
* Review vendor drawings and design data.
* Provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures.
About You
* Detailed knowledge of materials handling & mineral processing
* Significant experience in 3D modelling
* Prior experience with Smart Plant 3D highly desirable
* Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards industry regulations and HSE practices
* Proficient in the layout of process plant equipment
* Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data
* Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices
