The Role We are seeking a teacher with ideally outstanding knowledge of the English Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) syllabus and a proven ability to create excellent learning experiences for our students that allows them to explore and develop their analytical, creative, and critical thinking and communication skills in all language modes in a manner that is both rigorous and engaging. The successful applicant would work across Years 7 to 12 and bring their expertise to the English Learning Area, applying their knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. Importantly, we are ideally looking to employ staff with experience teaching those students requiring extra literacy support in our Modified Pathway classes. You should be student focused, highly motivated and innovative. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and be able to work cooperatively in a large collaborative Learning Area team. Strong classroom management skills, the ability to develop rapport and motivate students, the ability to differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs and to practise a range of high impact teaching strategies are highly desirable.
