We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic
Enrolled Nurse - Admissions, Scrub, Discharge - PPT
with scrub experience to join our clinical team at
Nexus Hospitals
on a part-time basis, working a minimum of 52 hours per fortnight. The roster is Monday to Friday with no weekends, no on-call, or public holiday shifts.
Duties And Responsibilities
Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care.
Provide exceptional clinical and theatre support from patient admission, scrub, through to recovery and multiple theatre visits.
Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery.
Ensure patient safety and communication with the surgical team is a key focus.
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications.
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery.
About You
Experienced Enrolled Nurse suitable for a fast-paced environment.
Experience in day-surgery admissions, discharge, and scrub is desirable.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Current registration with AHPRA.
Experience in the above specialties is highly desirable.
GP practice nurses with skin-lesion excision experience are encouraged to apply.
