About the role
The Service Delivery Manager is a key member in the Service Delivery team working to ensure the smooth operation of the IT applications for that portfolio area.
Service Delivery scope includes all assets owned by Insurance & Enterprise Technology (partner or internally managed) as well as any supporting assets that are owned by the Insurance business.
This role will provide technical operational services across platforms with the focus on the Duck Creek platform.
The individual will work in a team that supports all Suncorp business applications and hence from time to time the role will require supporting other platforms.
What you'll do
Manage relationships with service partners/operations team for service delivery
Ensure operational needs are understood and prioritised
Work with the SIAM team to ensure adoption and adherence to SIAM processes
Establish metric/performance reporting; track performance and ensure business viability of service levels
Approving, preparing, planning, and managing of new or changed services
Participation in service and service provider reviews and negotiation of SLA and contracts
Being available on an on-call basis based on a roster and/or supporting critical incidents after hours
What you'll bring
5+ years' service management experience including; incident, problem, release, availability, continuity
Insurance domain or Policy platform knowledge is preferred
Proven IT and team management experience with broad technical knowledge
Experience driving incident response and decision making associated with crisis management
Demonstrable exposure to and knowledge of IT service principles and frameworks including ITIL, process tools (ServiceNow), frameworks, and best practice methods
Experience with Duck Creek is highly regarded
