You'll play a key role in
As a Site Manager in our Perth team, you'll take responsibility for managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients, you'll coordinate day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractor performance, and maintain strong communication across the project team. This role provides exposure to a diverse pipeline of projects across WA and the opportunity to work within a well-established, high-performing team backed by SHAPE's national systems and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards
* Maintain a safe working environment in line with SHAPE EHSQ policies and procedures
* Coordinate subcontractors and site staff to ensure programme delivery and quality outcomes
* Conduct site inductions, safety checks and risk assessments to identify and manage hazards
* Maintain accurate site documentation including site diaries and project updates within Procore
* Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
What you'll bring
You're an experienced construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects. You understand how to coordinate multiple trades, manage site safety and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project teams. You bring strong technical knowledge of construction practices and the ability to interpret drawings, manage programmes and maintain consistent site standards. Most importantly, you lead by example — promoting a safety-first culture and maintaining the professionalism and reliability that SHAPE is known for across the WA market.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' construction industry experience, including at least 2 years in a Site Management role
* Experience delivering commercial fitout or refurbishment projects ($700k - $5M+)
* Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and buildability
* Current Construction Industry Card
* Strong understanding of EHSQ principles and site safety practices
* A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships
* A proactive and accountable approach with pride in delivering quality outcomes
