Senior Network Engineer – Temporary Full‐Time (up to 06 August 2027)
State: Temporary full‐time role, ending on 06 August 2027.
Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and manage F5 BIG‐IP modules (LTM, ASM, APM, GTM).
* Perform load balancing, SSL offloading, and application firewall configurations.
* Develop and maintain iRules and iApps for traffic management and security enforcement.
* Design and implement SASE architecture, integrating networking and security functions such as SD‐WAN, CASB, ZTNA and SWG.
* Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of SASE and Proofpoint technologies.
* Deploy and manage Proofpoint solutions including Email Protection, Threat Intelligence, DLP and Security Awareness Training.
* Troubleshoot complex network and application delivery issues.
* Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand citizen.
* Required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
* Must hold and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
* Advanced expertise in F5 application delivery controllers and enterprise firewalls.
* Experience with SASE solutions, SD‐WAN, CASB, ZTNA, SWG and modern email security platforms.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and cross‐functional collaboration experience.

Total Remuneration Package: $176,910 per annum. Salary range $149,739 to $156,088, plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
