Role Description
We are seeking a Workday Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll & Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, etc.). As a Lead Functional Consultant you will support various modules of Workday on both BAU and implementation projects. Your responsibilities will include business process configuration, reporting, testing, documentation design workbooks, application maintenance, transition, requirement validation, product customization, and security strategy execution and maintenance for the Workday HCM application.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Work closely with business to gather, understand, and analyze requirements; demonstrate configurations using prototyping; unit test processes; provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions.
* Configure business processes (BP changes, supervisory organization, locations, etc.), troubleshoot data issues/corrections, develop Workday reporting and analytics, and implement security configurations and changes.
* Manage and run Workday major release update feature analysis, testing, and coordination with business for deployment.
* Identify improvement opportunities for business and implement solutions.
Technical Expertise & Federal SAP Requirements
* 10-12 years of overall IT experience.
* 6+ years of relevant experience in Workday HCM domain, particularly in functional configuration across Core HR, Payroll & Time Tracking, Recruitment, Benefits, Absence, etc., for implementation, support, and development projects.
* Strong experience with basic and advanced security; basic technical knowledge.
* Experience managing medium‐sized teams is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.

Location: Melbourne, VIC
Salary: AUD 150,742 – 171,215 Annual Gross (indicative; subject to internal processes).
