Job Overview
Mechanical Engineers are required to perform and deliver allocated work orders, service and repair mechanical equipment across the network.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform and deliver allocated work orders to ensure smooth operation of mechanical equipment.
* Service, inspect and maintain assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes and winches to prevent breakdowns.
* Document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure accuracy and transparency.
* Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network, attending pre-start meetings to discuss work schedules and priorities.
* Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, identifying and mitigating risks to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in Mechanical Trades across large maintenance programs and networks.
* Ability to service technical mechanical assets, including actuators, gearboxes and pumps.
* Current C Class Driver Licence.
* Trade Mechanical certificate.
* Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity).
* Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity).
* Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity).
* Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity).
* Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity).
